Wheat Rava Is Also
Called As Dhaliya/ Broken Wheat Rava/Goduma Rava. It is processed to the
required size like Fine size, Medium Size or Large Size. It is Rich in High Fiber
and Nutritious Recipe for Breakfast / Lunch. Its Easy And Healthy. Mostly Wheat
Rava is Used In Fasting. Few Recipes With Wheat Rava Includes Sera, Pulihora,
Biryani & Khichidi.Finally I Want To Highlight Some Of My Breakfast Recipes Like
Ingredients:
- Wheat Rava / Godhuma Rava / Dhaliya – 150g or 1 Cup
- Moong Dal – 70g or 3/4th Cup
- Cloves – 3
- Cardamom – 3
- Shahjeera – 1 Tsp.
- Cumin Seeds ( Jeera ) – 1 ½ Tsp.
- Mustard Seeds - 1 ½ Tsps.
- Green Chillies – 5 Chopped
- Onion – 1 Big Chopped
- Curry Leaves
- Mint Leaves ( Pudina ) – 1 Cup
- Ginger – 1 Tbsp. Chopped
- Black Pepper – 1 Tbsp. Crushed
- Salt – As Required
- Oil
- Coriander Leaves – ½ Cup
Preparation:
- Firstly Dry Roast The Wheat Rava / Dhaliya / Godhuma Rava And Keep Aside.
- The Dry Roast The Moon Dal ( Pesaru Pappu ).
- Remove From Flame And Take In Bowl.
- Soak Moong Dal In Water After Roasting.
- In Pan Add Oil
- Add Cloves, Cardamom, Shahjeera, Cumin Seeds & Mustard Seeds.
- Then Add Chopped Green Chillies And Saute For About 2 Minutes.
- Then Add Chopped Onions With Salt And Mix Well
- Saute For About 2 Minutes Then Add Curry Leaves & Mint Leaves.
- Saute Till You get Nice Aroma.
- Then Add chopped Ginger and Crushed Black Pepper and Mix Well.
- Saute For About 2 to 3 Minutes.
- Then Add Roasted Moong Dal And Mix Well.
- Then Add Water And Mix
- Close And Cook On High Flame, Till The Water Gets Boil.
- When Water Gets Boil, Reduce Flame & Adjust Salt
- Then Add Roasted Wheat Rava And Mix Well.
- Close And Cook On Low Flame For About 2 Minutes
- Open And Mix Once Then Again Close And Cook Till Wheat Rava Kichadi Is Done Complete.
- When It Is Done Open Lid And Add Freshly Chopped Coriander Seeds And Mix Well.
- That’s It Wheat Rava Kichadi / Dhaliya Kichadi / Godhuma Rava Kichadi Is ready To Serve.
