Onion Pakoda Fried Rice | ఉల్లిపాయ పకోడి ఫ్రైడ్ రైస్ | पकौड़ा फ्राइड राइस| special desi recipes

Onion pakoda fried rice - with detailed photo and video recipe. Fried rice is a dish of cooked rice that has been stir-fried in a wok or a frying pan and is usually mixed with other ingredients such as chicken, vegetables, seafood, soya chunks or meat. Here am sharing onion pakoda fried rice which is a very different and very tasty easy recipe. Here am not using any vegetables, eggs, or meat. This is one of the simple recipe done with onion pakoda and cooked rice with a mix of mild spices and sauce. It is often eaten by itself or as accompanied by another dish.

At our home many of the fried rice recipes are made with leftover from other dishes, leading to countless variations like egg fried rice with leftover chicken gravy, leftover gobi 65 fried rice, chicken fried rice with leftover chicken curry, etc. And this is another leftover onion pakoda fried rice.

For this recipe I leftover onion pakoda and cooked rice. Finally, I want to highlight some of my recipes like,

Ingredients:
  • Onion Pakoda
  • Oil - 4 Tbsps.
  • Shahjeera - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Crushed Cloves - 5
  • Crushed Cardamom - 2
  • Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Green Chillies - 3
  • Onions - 1 Big
  • Curry Leaves
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Vinegar - 1 1/2 Tbsps.
  • Soya Sauce - 1 1/2 Tbsps.
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Coriander Leaves 
  • Cumin Powder - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Cooked Rice - 1 Bowl Or 4 Cups
  • Tomatoes - 3
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tbsp.

Preparation:

  • Take onion pakoda as per your choice fresh pakoda or the leftover.
  • Chop the pakoda into small pieces and keep aside.
  • In a pan add oil, then add crushed cloves, cardamom, shahi jeera, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and saute.
  • Then add chopped onions along with salt and saute till the onions change color.
  • Then add green chilies along with curry leaves and ginger garlic paste.
  • Saute till it releases aroma.
  • Then add tomatoes and red chili powder and mix well.
  • Cook till the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
  • After 5 minutes, tomatoes become soft and mushy, then add chopped onion pakoda and mix well.
  • Now add cooked rice along with black pepper powder and cumin powder and mix well.
  • Close and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, finally, add coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Serve hot this onion pakoda fried rice with plain curd or with raita or even with masala gravy-like tomato masala, aloo kurma, and enjoy.

Detail Photo Recipe Of Onion Pakoda Fried Rice
