Red Chilli Mint Chutney | Mint Chutney | Pudina Pachadi – Is One of the Famous Chutney for Sour and Bitter Tongue. It’s Taste Superb When We Suffer from Fever with Bitter Tongue. The Tangy Taste Of That Pulp Would Be The Ultimate Treat For Taste Buds.


Another Ingredient Is Mint, Mint Is A Calming And Soothing Herb That Has Used To Aid With Upset Stomach Or Digestion. The Smell of Mint Leaves Treats Nausea & Headaches. If We Drink Mint Leaves Water Before Going to Bed Gives Very Good Sleep, Its Works on Body and Mind and Reduces depression & Fatigue.

Red Chilli Mint Chutney Done With Dry Red Chillies, Tamarind Pulp, and Coriander Seeds, Ginger Garlic Cumin Seeds. It’s a jumbo Pack of Benefits.This Pickle Goes Well With Rice,Dosa & Idli.If You Want Watery Add Some Boiled Tomatoes And Blend With Red Chilli Mint Chutney Is Also Tastes Superb.

Finally I Want To Highlight Some Of My Chutney Recipes Like





Ingredients:

  • Mint (Pudina) – 120g
  • Dry Red Chilli – 30g (15 to 20)
  • Garlic – 20g
  • Ginger –15g
  • Cumin Seeds(Jeera) – 1 1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander Seeds (Daniya) – 3 Tbsps.
  • Tamarind (Chinthapandu)  - 20g

For Tempering:

  • Mustard Seeds – 1 Tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
  • Garlic Crushed – 1 Tbsp.
  • Red Chillies – 2 to 3
  • Curry Leaves
  • Turmeric Powder – 1 Tsp

Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Oil
  • Add Red chillies, Ginger And Garlic Cloves And Saute For Some Time.
  • Then Add Tamarind, Coriander Seeds And Cumin Seeds.
  • Saute Till Garlic Turns Light Brown Colour & Till You Get Nice Coriander Seeds Smell.
  • Take This Mixture To Blender And Rest It, Till It Gets Cool.
  • In Same Pan Add Mint Leaves.
  • Close And Cook For About 10 Minutes.
  • Open And Saute Till Water Evaporates.
  • Notes : Don’t Over Cook.
  • Now This Mint Leaves On Bowl And Rest It.
  • Once The Red Chilli And Mint Leaves Get Cool, Firstly Blend The Red Chilli mixture Coarsely.
  • Then Add Mint Leaves And Blend
  • Take This Chutney In Bowl.

For Tempering:

  • In Pan Add Oil
  • Add Mustard Seeds, Cumin( Jeera)Seeds, Red Chillies, Crushed Garlic And Curry Leaves.
  • Saute Till Garlic Turn Light Brown Colour.
  • Then Add Turmeric Powder And Add This Tempering To The Chutney And Mix Well.
  • Spicy, Sweet & Sour Red Chilli Mint Chutney Is Ready To Serve.

Step By Step Method With Pictures:

  • In Pan Add Oil

  • Add Red chillies, Ginger And Garlic Cloves And Saute For Some Time.


  • Then Add Tamarind, Coriander Seeds And Cumin Seeds.



  • Saute Till Garlic Turns Light Brown Colour & Till You Get Nice Coriander Seeds Smell.


  • Take This Mixture To Blender And Rest It, Till It Gets Cool.

  • In Same Pan Add Mint Leaves.

  • Close And Cook For About 10 Minutes.

  • Open And Saute Till Water Evaporates.

  • Notes : Don’t Over Cook.
  • Now This Mint Leaves On Bowl And Rest It.

  • Once The Red Chilli And Mint Leaves Get Cool, Firstly Blend The Red Chilli mixture Coarsely.


  • Add Salt.

  • Then Add Mint Leaves And Blend


  • Blend To Coarsely And Take This Chutney In Bowl.

  • In Pan Add Oil & Mustard Seeds

  • Add Cumin( Jeera)Seeds, Red Chillies, Crushed Garlic And Curry Leaves.




  • Saute Till Garlic Turn Light Brown Colour.
  • Then Add Turmeric Powder And Add This Tempering To The Chutney And Mix Well.



  • Spicy, Sweet & Sour Red Chilli Mint Chutney Is Ready To Serve.

Note:

  • Don't Over Cook Mint Leaves.
  • Clean The Mint Leaves Before Cooking.
  • Add Spices Like Red Chillies Has Per Your Taste.
