Soya Granules Masala Recipe | Soya Keema Masala | Soya Mince Masala Curry Recipe


Soya Granules | Soya Mince | Soya Keema - Is One Of The High Protein Recipe, Which Is Also Called As Vegetable Textured Protein. Soya Keema Masala Is A Delicious Vegetarian Keema That is Prepared Very Easy, Tasty & Quickly.

To Prepare This Keema Recipe, Firstly We Have To Boil The Soya Keema/ Granules In Boiling Water With Some Salt. Boil & Cook For About 5 Minutes.Then Drain The Water And Wash With Cool Water And Drain Even The Cool Water And Keep Aside.

They Are Many Ways To Prepare This Soya Keema Recipe, Today Am Going To Share The Basic Recipe Of Doing Soya Keema Masala By Adding Dry Coconut & Spice Masala.

Easy To Cook And Taste Superb When Serve Either With Rice, Roti, Dosa & Naan.

I Used Chopped Tomatoes In My Recipes, One Can Use Even The Boiled Tomato Puree Instead Of Chopped Tomatoes.Blend The Medium / Small Size Dry Coconut, Cloves, cardamom, Cinnamon & Shahjeera To Fine Powder.I Added This Masala Powder After Adding Tomatoes, Instead Can Add Before Ginger Garlic Paste For Other Different Taste.

Finally I Want To Highlight Some Of My Vegetarian Recipes Like

Ingredients :


  • Soya Granules | Soya Keema | Soya Mince - 150 g ( 1 Cup )
  • Dry Coconut - 40 g ( Small Piece )
  • Cloves - 8
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Cinnamon - 1 Inch
  • Shahjeera - 1 Tsp.
  • Peppercorns - 8
  • Bay Leaves - 1
  • Dagad Flower - Few
  • Star Anise - 1
  • Green Chillies - 4 Chopped
  • Onions - 1 Big Chopped
  • Curry Leaves
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp.
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Tomatoes - 4 Big Chopped
  • Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Coriander Powder - 1 1/2 Tsps.
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Oil

Preparation :

Boiling Soya Keema:

  • In Deep Kadai, Add Water As Required And Bring To Boil.
  • Then Add Salt & Soya Keema | Soya Granules
  • Mix And Again Bring To Boil.
  • Boil And Cook For About 2 Minutes.
  • When Done, Drain The Water.
  • Add Cool Water And Again Drain The Water
  • Press & Remove Excess Water.
  • Keep Aside.

Masala Preparation :

  • In Blender Add Dry Coconut, Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Shahjeera & Peppercorns.
  • Blend To Fine Powder & Keep Aside.

Soya Keema Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Bay Leaf, Dagad Flower, Star Anise, Green Chillies And Saute 1 Minutes.
  • Then Add Chopped Onions With Salt And Saute Till Onions Turns Light Brown Colour.
  • When Onions Are Cooked, Add Curry Leaves, Ginger Garlic Paste & Turmeric Powder.
  • Saute Till Ginger garlic Paste Leaves The Raw Smell.
  • Now Add Chopped Tomatoes With Red Chilli Powder.
  • Mix Well.
  • Close & Cook For About 5 Minutes Or Till Tomatoes Are Cooked Well.
  • Open And Mix Then Add, Dry Coconut Masala, Cumin Powder & Coriander Powder.
  • Mix Well.
  • Saute Well Till Tomatoes And Dry Coconut Masala Is Cooked Well, Soft & Mushy.
  • Now Add Boil And Cooked Soya Granules.
  • Mix Well & Add Water As Required.
  • Mix Well & Close And Simmer For About 5 More Minutes.
  • Add Kasoori Methi And Mix Well.
  • Saute Till All The Water Evaporates.
  • Finally Add Coriander Leaves And Mix.
  • That's It Soya Keema Is Ready To Serve With Rice, Roti, Naan Etc.

Step By Step Procedure With Pictures Of Soya Keema Recipe

Boiling Soya Keema:

  • In Deep Kadai, Add Water As Required And Bring To Boil.


  • Then Add Salt & Soya Keema | Soya Granules



  • Mix And Again Bring To Boil.

  • Boil And Cook For About 2 Minutes.

  • When Done, Drain The Water.

  • Add Cool Water And Again Drain The Water

  • Press & Remove Excess Water.

  • Keep Aside.

Masala Preparation :

  • In Blender Add Dry Coconut, Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Shahjeera & Peppercorns.







  • Blend To Fine Powder & Keep Aside.

  • Close & Cook For About 5 Minutes Or Till Tomatoes Are Cooked Well.

  • Open And Mix Then Add, Dry Coconut Masala, Cumin Powder & Coriander Powder.




  • Mix Well.

  • Saute Well Till Tomatoes And Dry Coconut Masala Is Cooked Well, Soft & Mushy.

  • Now Add Boil And Cooked Soya Granules.

  • Mix Well & Add Water As Required.



  • Mix Well & Close And Simmer For About 5 More Minutes.


  • Add Kasoori Methi And Mix Well.


  • Saute Till All The Water Evaporates.
  • Finally Add Coriander Leaves And Mix.


  • That's It Soya Keema Is Ready To Serve With Rice, Roti, Naan Etc.

Notes :

  • Don't Over Boil Soya Granules.
  • Add Salt While Boiling, It Makes The Granules Tasty.
  • After Boiling Drain and Wash With Cool Water, As It Remove Soya Hard Smell.
  • Cook Tomatoes Till It Becomes Very Soft.
  • Add Spices As Per Once Taste.
  • Add Sufficient Water, As Per Consistency.
