Kala Chana Chaat Recipe - With Video And Photo Recipe. Kala Chana Is Also Call As Black Chickpeas. It Is An Excellent Vegan And Gluten-Free. It Has ExCeptional Level Of Vitamin B6, Iron, And Magnesium.


Chickpeas Can Be Used In Different Ways. It Can Be Used For Main Course Curry, Side Dish Salad Or Like A Street Food Chaat. In This Post Am Sharing Kala Chana Chaat. Usually, Chana Chaat Is Prepared By Boiling Chana In Pressure Cooker Then Fried With Less Oil. In Some What Different With More Tasty And Less Effort. In This Fried, Sprouted Chana Chaat Is Healthy With Less Essential Fat ( Means Less Oil ). Sprouts Are Good Source Of Protein. Its Very Easy To Make Sprouts.

Clean And Wash Kala Chana And Soak Overnight In Water. Next Day Remove Water And Place The Chana Is Cotton Cloth Or In Bowl With Less Air. On Right Of The 2nd Day, One Can See Super Sprouts.

Instead Of Pressure Cooking And Frying, I Directly Fried The Chana. This Gives Different And Super Taste To The Chaat.

Ingredients:


  • Sprouted Kala Chana - 1 Cup
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Pepper Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • coriander Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Salt - 1 Tsp.
  • Oil - 3 Tbsps.
  • Onion - 1 Big Chopped
  • Tomato - 1 Big Chopped
  • Lemon Juice - 2 Tbsps.
  • Coriander Leaves - 1/4 Cup
  • Black Salt - 1 Tsp.
  • Chaat Masala - 1 Tsp.
  • Aloo Bhujia/ Sev 

Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Oil, Then Add Sprouted Kala Chana With Salt And Saute 2 Minutes.
  • Then Add Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder & Pepper Powder.
  • Mix Well And Saute For More 2 Minutes.
  • Close And Cook For About 5 Minutes.
  • Remove And Keep Aside When Chana Was Cooked Well.
  • Now In Other Bowl Add Cooked Kala Chana.
  • Add Chopped Onions, Tomatoes, Coriander Leaves, Black Salt, Chaat Masala And Lemon Juice.
  • Mix Well And Add Half Of Aloo Bhujia / Sev And Mix.
  • Serve Hot With more Aloo Bhujia Or Sev.
