Potato Egg Curry - With Detail Photo And Video Recipe. It Is One Of the Delicious Gravy Recipe For Potato And Egg Lovers. The Main Ingredients Used In This Recipe Are Potato And Eggs. Everyone Knows,  Egg Is Rich Protein As The Same The Potato Is Also Nutritious And Healthy Especially For Heart Health As It Contains Fiber, Potassium, Vitamin C & B6 Contents Coupled With Its Lack Of Cholesterol & Supports Heart Health.

To Make The Gravy More Rich I Added Cashew In Tomato Paste. If One Want To Make This Dish More Healthy Don't Fry The Eggs & Potato Before Instead Can Add Directly The Boiled Eggs And Potato. But, Adding The Fried Eggs And Potatoes Gives More Taste And Helps The Potato To Retain Its Shape Without Mashing Away In Gravy.

Ingredients:

Main Ingredients:


  • Boiled Eggs - 6
  • Potatoes - 4 Medium Size Chopped
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Green Chillies - 3 Chopped
  • Onions - 1 Chopped
  • Salt
  • Tomato Paste
  • Fried Eggs
  • Fried Potatoes
  • Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Coriander Powder - 1 1/2 Tsps.
  • Kasoori Methi - 1 Tbsp.
  • Coriander Leaves

Fried Boiled Eggs Ingredients:

  • Boiled Eggs - 6
  • Salt - 1 Tsp.
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Oil - 2 Tbsps.

Fried Aloo Ingredients:

  • Aloo ( Potatoes ) - 4
  • Salt - 1 Tsp.
  • Oil - 3 Tbsps.

Tomato Masala Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes - 4
  • Cloves - 12
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Cinnamon - Small Inch
  • Shahjeera - 1 Tsp.
  • Peppercorns - 12
  • Cashews - 10

Preparation:

Fried Boiled Egg Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Oil.
  • When Oil Gets Heated Up Add Boiled Eggs By Making Vertical Slits.
  • Spread Oil And Add Salt And Red Chilli Powder.
  • Mix Well And Saute.
  • Saute Till It Turns Light Golden Colour.

Fried Potato Preparation:

  • Peel & Wash The Potatoes.
  • Chop Into Medium Size.
  • Add More Oil, Then Add Chopped Potatoes With Salt And Mix Well.
  • Saute Well Till Golden And Crispy.
  • Remove And Keep Aside.

Tomato Masala Preparation:

  • In Same Pan Add Cloves, Cardamom, Peppercorns,Cinnamon & Shahjeera.
  • Saute 2 Minutes Then Add fresh Coconut And Saute Till It Turns Light Brown Colour.
  • Then Add Chopped Tomatoes And Mix Well,
  • Close And Cook Till Tomatoes Becomes Soft And Mushy.
  • Add Cashews And Saute 2 Minutes Then Add To Blender And Make Smooth Paste.

Main Curry Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Oil. Then Add Bay Leaf, Mustard & Cumin Seeds.
  • Then Add Chopped Onions With Salt And Saute For About 2 Minutes.
  • Then Add Green Chillies And Saute For About 1 Minute.
  • Then Add Curry Leaves, Turmeric Powder, And Ginger Garlic Paste.
  • Mix Well And Saute Till It Turns Light Golden Colour.
  • Then Add Tomato Masala Paste, Red Chilli Powder, Cumin Powder And Coriander Powder.
  • Mix Well And Saute Till It Becomes Thick.
  • Then Add 2.5 Cups Of Water And Mix Well.
  • Then Add Kasoori Methi, Fried Potato & Boiled Eggs.
  • Mix Well. Close And Simmer For About 10 Minutes.
  • Finally, Add Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.
  • Serve Hot With Roti, Naan Or Rice.

  • Saute 2 Minutes Then Add Fresh Coconut And Saute Till Light Golden Colour.




  • Chopped Tomatoes And Mix Well.


  • Close And Cook Till Tomatoes Becomes Soft And Mushy.


  • Add Cashew And Saute 2 Minute Then Add To Blender And Make Smooth Paste.

  • Mix Well. Close And Simmer For About 10 Minutes.


  • Finally, Add Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.


  • Serve Hot With Roti, Naan Or Rice.
