Boiled Egg Curry | Egg Curry | Special Desi Recipes

 Boiled Egg Curry - As everyone knows the egg is an excellent source of high-quality protein and rich in vitamins b, zinc, calcium and important nutrients.Like the same the hard-boiled eggs are low-calorie, nutrient-rich food which is easily digestible. Here am sharing boiled egg curry done with a dry coconut masala. Boiled egg curry can be done in many different ways according to taste. One can do with tamarind juice or, tomato onions gravy but, whatever the recipe is boiled egg curry is best in any flavor.

For this curry firstly we have to boil eggs without breaking the shell. For this clean eggs and add eggs in pan or bowl, add water and 1 tsp of salt. Put on high flame till the water gets a boil. As soon as the water gets a boil, simmer the stove and cook with an open lid or semi-open lid for about 15 Minutes. With these tricks and tips, one can prepare hard-boiled eggs very perfectly.

Another tip to get very delicious and juicy egg curry, cook the tomatoes very well till they become soft and mushy. And to fry the onions evenly brown add a little amount of salt as soon as the onions are added and saute well.


For the above delicious, spicy and tasty boiled egg curry, one has to prepare dry coconut masala. For this, we need dry coconut or roasted dry coconut powder. Here in my video, I am using roasted dry coconut powder. For this, I dried the fresh coconut and then blended and roasted the freshly dried coconut. If this process is time taking simple buy the dry coconut in the market then roast and blend to a fine powder. Any of the methods works very well and gives very flavorful egg curry.

      Delicious Rich Gravy Recipe For Potato And Egg Lovers. The Main Ingredients Used In This Recipe Are Potato And Eggs. Everyone Knows,  Egg Is Rich Protein As The Same The Potato Is Also Nutritious And Healthy Especially For Heart Health As It Contains Fiber, Potassium, Vitamin C & B6 Contents Coupled With Its Lack Of Cholesterol & Supports Heart Health.


Masala Ingredients

  • Dry coconut powder - 1/2 Cup
  • Cloves - 8
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Peppercorns - 10
  • Shahjeera - 1 Tsp.
  • Cinnamon - 1 Inch
  • Kashmiri Chillies -2

Cooking Curry Ingredients:

  • Oil - 5 Tbsps.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Dry Red chillies - 4
  • Onion - 1
  • Salt - 1 Tsp.
  • Curry Leaves
  • Kasoori Methi - 1 Tbsp.
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp.
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4th Tsp.
  • Tomatoes - 5
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tbsp.
  • Water - 1 Cup
  • Boiled Eggs - 5
  • Grated Boiled Egg - 1
  • Coriander Powder - 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Coriander Leaves

Preparation:

  • In Blender, add dry coconut, cloves, cardamom,shahjeera,kashmiri chillies and cinnamon and blend to fine powder.
  • In pan add oil, cumin, onions along with salt.
  • Mix well and saute for about 1 Minute.
  • Then add curry leaves, kasoori methi, ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Saute till it releases aroma then add tomatoes along with red chilli powder and mix well.
  • Close and cook for about 10 Minutes.
  • After 10 Minutes tomatoes are cooked well, soft and mushy.
  • Now add water along with boiled and grated eggs.
  • Mix well and add coriander powder and mix well.
  • Again close and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • After 10 Minutes it releases oil.
  • Finally add coriander leaves mix well and serve hot with any plain rice or even with roti, chapati, naan or poori.
