Potato Kadhi | Aloo Kadhi Recipe| Special Desi Recipes
Aloo kadhi is one of the easy, tasty and quick aloo kadhi recipe done with roasted gram and curd. A light and lovely curry with potatoes that goes well with any dry curry.
For this recipe, whisk or blend the curd very smooth. Here added roasted gram or besan in the recipe to make the recipe thick and delicious.

Ingredients:
- Oil - 3 Tbsps.
- Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp.
- Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
- Garlic - 1/2 Tbsp.
- Ginger - 1 1/2 Tbsps.
- Green Chillies - 3
- Onion - 1
- Curry Leaves
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4th Tsp.
- Potatoes - 2 Big
- Water - 1 1/2 Cups
- Curd - 2 Cups.
- Roasted Gram | Putnalu - 2 Tbsps.
- Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Tbsp.
- Salt - As Required
- Coriander Leaves
Preparation:
- In a blender add putnalu and blend to a fine powder.
- In the same blender add curd and blend to smooth.
- In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, and ginger.
- Now saute well till it releases aroma.
- Then add onions, green chilies, curry leaves, and mix well.
- Saute till the onions turn translucent, then add potatoes and turmeric powder.
- Mix well and close and cook for about 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes aloo cooked well.
- Then add red chili powder and water.
- Mix well and add blended curd and mix well.
- Close and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Finally, add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Serve hot with any fry curry and enjoy it.
