Paneer Masala - With Detail Photo And Video Recipe. Paneer Is Also Called As Cottage Cheese. Paneer Masala Is One Of The Unique, Delicious And Tasty Paneer Curry. Usually, Paneer Is Made By Curdling The Heated Milk With Lemon Juice Or Vinegar. I Did With Store Buy Paneer. One Can Do With Fresh Home Made Paneer.

Paneer Masala Is Done By Just Warming The Paneer With Red Chilli Powder And Salt. This Procedure Makes The Paneer Very Soft And With Flavor Of Spicy. One Can Even Mariante The Paneer For About 10 Minutes Then Warm The Paneer For About 5 Minutes Also Gives The Same Result.

Any Paneer Recipes Are Done With Finely Chopped Onions And Tomato Puree / Tomato Pulp. And Everything Is Cooked Very Very Well Till It Releases Oil. This Gives A Very Delicious And Tasty Paneer Curry. Here Paneer Masala Is Done By Finely Chopped Onions And Tomatoes Along With Curd And Cashew Paste For Richness.

Ingredients:

  • Paneer: 200 g
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Salt - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Oil - 3 Tbsps.

Paneer Masala Ingredients:

  • Oil - 3 Tbsps.
  • Bay Leaves - 2
  • Crushed Cloves - 4
  • Crushed Cardamom - 2
  • Crushed Cinnamon - Small Piece
  • Shahjeera - 1 Tsp.
  • Onions - 2 Big Chopped
  • Curry Leaves
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp.
  • Tomatoes - 4 Big Chopped
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp.
  • Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Coriander Powder - 1 1/2 Tsp.
  • Curd - 3 Tbsps.
  • Cashew Paste - 10 Cashews / 1/4th Cup.
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Kasoori Methi Powder - 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Coriander Leaves

Preparation

Cooking Paneer Preparation

  • In Pan Add Oil.
  • When Oils Gets Heated Up, Add Paneer Cubes And Add Red Chilli Powder And Salt.
  • Mix And Saute Well.
  • Don't Over Cook The Paneer. Just Warm The Paneer Cubes, This Makes The Paneer Very Soft And Spicy.
  • When Paneer Gets Warm Remove And Keep Aside.

Cooking Paneer Masala Preparation

  • In Same Pan Add Oil.
  • When Oil Gets Heated Up Add Bay Leaves, Crushed Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon, And Shahjeera.
  • Saute 1 Minute.
  • Then Add Chopped Onions With Salt And Saute Till Onions Turns Light Brown Colour.
  • Then Add Curry Leaves, Ginger Garlic Paste, And Turmeric Powder And Mix Well.
  • Saute Well Till It Releases Oil.
  • Then Add Curd/Yogurt And Mix Well And Saute.
  • Again Saute Well Till It Releases Oil.
  • Then Add Chopped Tomatoes With Red Chilli Powder, Cumin Powder, And Coriander Powder.
  • Mix Well.
  • Close And Cook Till The Tomatoes Becomes Soft And Mushy.
  • Then Add Cashew Paste And Mix Well.
  • Saute Till The Gravy Becomes Thick.
  • Then Add Garam Masala Powder And Kasoori Methi And Mix Well.
  • Then Add Water And Mix Well.
  • Finally, Add Paneer Cubes And Mix Well.
  • Close And Simmer For About 10 Minutes.
  • After 10 Minutes, It Releases Oil.
  • Then Add Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.

  • Then Add Garam Masala Powder And Kasoori Methi And Mix Well.



  • Then Add Water And Mix Well.
