Snake Gourd Also Refer To Narrow, Twisted and Elongated Fruit. Many Don't Know Snake Gourd Or Dislike it. But, It Had Rich Varieties Of Vitamins, Nutrients, Mineral And Also Rich In Protein.

Many Use To Add Curd While Cooking The Snake Gourd. Its One Of The Superb Combination To Cook With Curd. I Don't Know Whether It is Superstitious Or True That The Combination Of Snake Gourd With Non-Veg Is Dangerous. Eating 2 Recipe At One Day Is Dangerous. My Parents And Grand Mother Used To Say This. Its Better To Avoid Eating Both On Same Day Until We Are Sure About It.

In My Post Am Sharing Snake Gourd Fry Just By Adding Garam Masala And Coriander Powder. Very Easy But Tasty Recipe One Should Try.

Video Recipe Of Snake Gourd Fry


Ingredients:

  • Snake Gourd - 500 g
  • Oil - 3 Tbsps.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Onions - 2 Chopped
  • Green Chillies - 3 Chopped
  • Salt - As Required
  • Curry Leaves
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp.
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp.
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp.
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Coriander Leaves.

Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Oil.
  • When Oil Get Heated Up Add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds.
  • When Seeds Splutter Add Chopped Onions With Salt.
  • Saute For About 2 Minutes.
  • Then Add Green Chillies And Saute For About 1 Minute.
  • Then Add Curry Leaves, Ginger Garlic Paste, And Turmeric Powder.
  • Mix Well And Saute Till Ginger Garlic Turns Light Brown Colour.
  • Then Add Chopped Snake Gourd And Mix Once.
  • Close And Cook For ABout 5 Minutes.
  • Then Mix Well.
  • Again Close And Cook For About 15 Minutes On Low Flame.
  • When Snake Gourd Is Cooked Well. 
  • Add Garam Masala And Coriander Powder And Mix Well.
  • Then Add Chopped Coriander Leaves And Mix Well 
  • Serve Hot With Rice, Roti Or Dosa.

  • Close And Cook For ABout 5 Minutes.

  • Then Mix Well.

  • Again Close And Cook For About 15 Minutes On Low Flame.

  • When Snake Gourd Is Cooked Well. 


  • Add Garam Masala And Coriander Powder And Mix Well.



  • Then Add Chopped Coriander Leaves And Mix Well 

  • Serve Hot With Rice, Roti Or Dosa.
