Rice Rava Upma | Akki Tari Uppittu - With Detail And Photo And Video Recipe. Rice Rava Upma Is One Of The Famous And Traditional Breakfast In South India And It Is One Of The Easy And Tasty Breakfast.

In Previous Days, People By Themselves Make Rice Rava To Prepare This Upma But, Now Rice Rava Is Readily Available In Market. Rice Rava Upma Is More Tastier Than Bombay Rava Upma.
If One Want To Make Rice Rava At Home, Follow The Procedure.
  • First Soak The Cleaned Rice Overnight In Water.
  • The Very Next Day, Remove Water And Spread On Plate Or Cloth Till It Becomes 90 Percent Dry.
  • Then Blend Rice Coarsely.
But, Doing The Above Process is Time Taking. So Now-a -day everything Is Ready In Market. One Can Bring And Readily Use The Rice Rava To Make Tasty And Easy Upma.

Ingredients:

  • Rice Rava - 1 Cup
  • Oil - 4 Tbsps.
  • Peanuts - 2 Tbsps.
  • Urad Dal - 1 Tbsp.
  • Chana Dal - 1 Tbsp.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Green Chillies - 3 Chopped
  • Onion - 1 Big Chopped
  • Salt - As Required
  • Curry Leaves
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp.
  • Water - 2 1/2 Cups

Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Oil
  • When Oil Gets Heated up Add Peanuts.
  • Roast On Low Flame Till Peanuts Becomes Light Brown Colour.
  • Then Add Urad Dal and Chana Dal And Roast Till It Become Light Brown Colour.
  • Then Add Mustard And Cumin Seeds And Saute Till They Splutter.
  • Then Add Chopped Onions With Salt And Mix Well.
  • Then Add Green Chillies And Curry Leaves.
  • Saute Well then Add Ginger Garlic Paste And Mix Well.
  • When Ginger Garlic Paste Is Cooked Well Add Water And Mix Well.
  • Bring The Water To Boil On High Flame.
  • When Water Gets Boil Add Rice Rava By Stirring Continuously.
  • Stir Well Without Any Lumps.
  • Close And Cook For About 5 Minutes.
  • After 5 Minutes, Open And Mix Once.
  • Again Close And Simmer For About 10 Minutes.
  • Finally, Add Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.
  • Rice Rava Upma Is Ready To Serve.

  • Bring The Water To Boil On High Flame.


  • When Water Gets Boil Add Rice Rava By Stirring Continuously.



  • Stir Well Without Any Lumps.


  • Close And Cook For About 5 Minutes.

  • After 5 Minutes, Open And Mix Once.


  • Again Close And Simmer For About 10 Minutes.

  • Finally, Add Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.
