Paneer Curry Recipe | Tomato Cashew Based Paneer Curry Recipe | Special Desi Recipes

Paneer curry is a popular, rich, and flavourful dish in Indian cuisine and is loved for its creamy texture, balanced flavors, and versatility. The curry is made by cooking paneer cubes in a rich, creamy, and aromatic gravy typically made with tomatoes, cashews, onions, ginger, garlic and a blend of herbs and spices like curry leaves, kasoori methi, garam masala, and coriander powder. It can be enjoyed with naan, roti, steamed rice, or flavored rice.

They are many different recipes of preparing paneer curry but this curry is the very flavourful and tasty recipe. This recipe is almost the same as paneer labaddar but this without sweet taste.

For this recipe, everything is boiled and then pureed. This makes the gravy very smooth and silky. Adding of cashew and fresh cream makes the gravy more tasty and smooth. In this recipe, I used fresh cream/malai and fresh butter of homemade. Butter tempering makes the curry more aromatic and tasty with fresh curry leaves along with the kasoori methi.

Few don't like the smell of the paneer. For them here is a small trick, boil the sufficient water along with salt, when water gets boiled off the flame and add the paneer cubes and rest for about 5 Minutes. Or by marinating and resting the paneer for about 10 minutes also removes the light smell of the paneer but not completely.
