Methi Paneer - with detail photo and video recipe. Methi paneer is one of the rich creamy, tasty and smooth gravy paneer recipe done with fenugreek leaves. The special methi paneer recipe tastes great with naan, parathas, roti, chapathi or even with steamed plain rice.

Present seasonal leaves fenugreek leaves, its one of the winter special dish. One can do this recipe with fresh fenugreek leaves. If it's difficult to find the fenugreek leaves( methi leaves ), one can use kasoori methi instead of this fresh leaves.

Methi Paneer recipe is a healthy and nutritional recipe. Fenugreek leaves( methi ) as benefits of reducing the blood sugar level and lowers inflammation and cholesterol levels. And the other ingredients used in this recipe is paneer, is rich in protein and had many nutritional benefits. These two healthy ingredients are added up with onions, tomatoes, and cashew for more nutritional rich, creamy gravy.

Paneer Masala is one of the unique, delicious and tasty paneer curries. It is done by just warming the paneer with red chili powder and salt. This makes the paneer very soft and with the flavor of spice and everything is cooked with onions-tomatoes, curd, and cashews for a rich gravy.

Video Recipe Of Methi Paneer Recipe


Ingredients:

Onion Tomato Paste Ingredients:


  • Onions - 1 Big
  • Tomatoes - 6 Big
  • Cashews - 10
  • Salt - 1 Tsp.
  • Oil - 2 Tbsps.

Cooking Methi Paneer Ingredients:

  • Oil - 3 Tbsps.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1/4th Tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/4th Tsp.
  • Onion - 1 medium Size.
  • Green Chillies - 3 Chopped
  • Curry Leaves
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp.
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Cumin Powder - 1/4th Tsp.
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • SAlt - As Required
  • Kasoori Methi - 1/4th Tsp.
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Paneer - 200 g
  • Methi Leaves - 5 Bunches

Preparation:

Onion Tomato Paste Preparation:

  • In a pan add oil.
  • When oil gets heated up add chopped onions along with salt and saute till onions change color.
  • Then add chopped tomatoes, mix well and cook till tomatoes become soft.
  • Then add cashews and cook for more 2 minutes.
  • Remove and let it become cool.
  • After becoming cool blend to a fine smooth paste and keep aside.

Cooking Methi Paneer Preparation:

  • In a pan add oil.
  • When oil gets heated up add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, onions, green chilies, and salt.
  • Then Add curry leaves, turmeric powder, and ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  • Saute well till its releases nice aroma.
  • Then add fenugreek leaves( methi ) and saute well till it releases nice aroma and oil.
  • Then add onion, tomato and cashew paste, water, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and coriander powder.
  • Mix well, Adjust water if required.
  • Add paneer cubes and mix slowly. Then close and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Finally, add kasoori methi and coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with roti, naan, chapati or with plain rice.

  • After becoming cool blend to a fine smooth paste and keep aside.

  • Mix well and saute till onions turn a light brown color.


  • Then Add curry leaves, turmeric powder, and ginger garlic paste and mix well.



  • Saute well till its releases nice aroma.

  • Then add fenugreek leaves( methi ) and saute well till it releases nice aroma and oil.



  • Then add onion, tomato and cashew paste, water, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and coriander powder.







  • Mix well, Adjust water if required.


  • Add paneer cubes and mix slowly.Then close and simmer for about 10 minutes.



  • Finally, add kasoori methi and coriander leaves.



  • Mix Well and serve hot with roti, naan, chapathi or even with plain rice.
