Ingredients:
- Browntop Millets - 2 Tbsps.
- Water - 3 Cups
- Green Chillies - 2
- Curry Leaves
- Crushed Garlic - 5 Cloves
- Bottle gourd - 1/2 Cup
- Ridgegourd - 1/2 Cup
- Capsicum - 1/2
- Tomato - 1 Big
- Cucumber - 1/2
- Beans - 8 to 10
- Tindora / Ivy Gourd - 8 to 10
- Carrot - 1 Small
- Cabbage - 1/4th Cup
- Salt - As Required
- Butter Milk - 1/2 Cup
- Cumin Powder - 1/2 Tsp.
- Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 Tsp.
- Lemon Juice - 1 Medium Size
- Soak the browntop millet overnight or for at least 5 hours
- Cook the millet along with green chilies, curry leaves, and crushed garlic on medium to low flame for about 15 minutes or till the millet is cooked soft.
- Then add vegetables like bottle gourd, ridge gourd, capsicum, tomato, carrot, cucumber, beans, tindora, etc., and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Vegetables should not boil completely.
- When the vegetables are half-boiled or lightly boiled keep aside till it becomes warm.
- Then add to blender along with buttermilk, cumin powder, pepper powder, and lemon juice and blend smoothly.
- Serve warm with onions and enjoy
