Moongphali bhindi is an Indian dish that uniquely combines ladyfinger ( okra ) With peanuts to create a delicious and crunchy stir fry.

Moongphali bhindi is a delightful twist on traditional bhindi recipes, offering a unique blend of textures and flavors. For this recipe, we dry roasted the peanuts and coarsely blend with garlic, dry coconut, and dry red chilies for the perfect combination of spices by adding a nutty flavor and crunchy to the dish with a flavourful aroma.


To prepare any bhindi recipes wash the bhindi and dry it thoroughly using a kitchen towel. Cut off the tops and bottoms then slice them into pieces. Incorporating bhindi into your diet can provide numerous health benefits, making it a valuable addition to a balanced and nutritious diet.

Video Recipe Of Moongphali Bhindi




Ingredients:

  • Bhindi - 500g
  • Peanuts - 1/4th Cup
  • Oil - 4 Tbsps.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Green chillies - 7
  • Curry Leaves
  • Dry Red Chillies - 3
  • Dry Coconut - 1/4th Cup
  • Garlic Cloves - 10 to 12
  • Salt - As Required
Preparation:

  • Wash and dry the bhindi.
  • In a pan add oil, when the oil gets hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chilies, Turmeric, and curry leaves.
  • Mix Well.
  • Then add chopped bhindi and mix well.
  • Stir in between and cook the bhindi till 80 Percent
  • In Blend add dry red chillies, dry coconut, garlic, and roasted peanuts and blend coarsely.
  • Mix well and adjust spices and salt accordingly.
  • When The bhindi is cooked at 80 percent add coarsely blended peanut powder and mix well.
  • Close and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Finally, add coriander leaves( optional ) and serve hot with rice or roti and enjoy.
