Video Recipe Of Dahi Chia Poha 


  • Poha - 1/2 Cup
  • Yogurt | Curd | Dahi - 1 1/2 Cups
  • Chia Seeds - 1 1/2 Tbsps.
  • Peanuts - 4 Tbsps.
  • Blacksalt - 1 Tsp.
  • Cumin Seed Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Salt - As Required
  • Onion - 1
  • Cucumber - 1
  • Tomatoes - 2

Tadka Ingredients:

  • Sesame Oil - 2 Tbsps.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Crushed Pepper - 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Green Chillies - 3
  • Sesame Seeds - 1 Tbsp.
  • Curry Leaves
  • Chopped Ginger - 1 Tbsp.


  • Rinse the poha thoroughly and let it drain.
  • Mix the poha with dahi along with peanuts, black salt, cumin powder, and chia seeds in a bowl and stir well.
  • Let the mixture sit for a few minutes or overnight to allow the chia seeds to absorb moisture.
  • In the morning add onions, cucumber, tomatoes, or any optional add-ins like nuts and mix well.
  • Then add the tadka with sesame oil, cumin seeds, pepper powder, chopped ginger, curry leaves, and sesame seeds and mix well till the seeds splutter.
  • When the seeds splutter add the tadka to soaked dahi chia poha and mix well.
  • Add dahi or water according to your preference and consistency and enjoy a healthy meal either for breakfast or for lunch.
