Vegetable Biryani or Veg Biryani – Is Very Quick And Easy Recipe If You have All Vegetables And Biryani Masala’s In Hand.This Vegetable Biryani Is Aromatic, Perfect & Light Biryani For Spicy Curries.

This Biryani is loaded with Vegetables like Gobi, Carrot, Potatoes, Green peas & Beans. If One Don’t Like Gobi In Biryani Can Skip Adding Gobi But, That Gobi Gives Nice Flavour To Biryani.

Firstly Soak Basmati Rice In Water 30 Minutes Before Cooking, This Makes To Cook The Rice And Vegetables Evenly. 

Cook All the Vegetable Till 80% Before Adding Rice, Then Add Rice And Water.With Rice Remaining 20 % Is Cooked.

Finally I Want To Hightlight Some Of My Rice Recipes Like

Ingredients:

  • Basmati Rice – 250g
  • Gobi (Cauliflower) – 1 Cup
  • Carrot – ½ Cup or 2 Chopped
  • Potatoes (Aloo) – 1 Big Chopped
  • Green Peas – ½ Cup
  • Beans – 5 Chopped
  • Onions – 2 Big Chopped
  • Green Chillies – 4 Chopped
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 ½ Tbsps.
  • Curry Leaves
  • Mint Leaves ( Pudina )
  • Cumin ( Jeera ) Seeds – 1 ½ Tsps.
  • Shahjeera – 1 Tsp.
  • Star Anise – 1
  • Cinnamon – 1 Inch
  • Cardamom – 3
  • Cloves – 5
  • Bay Leaves – 3
  • Nutmeg Powder – 1 Tsp.
  • Dagad Phool / Black Stone Flower ( Biryani Puvvu )
  • Kapok Buds - 3
  • Coriander leaves
  • Garam Masala Powder – 1 ½ Tsps.

Preparation:

  • Firstly Soak Rice 30 Minutes Before Cooking.
  • In Pan, Add Oil
  • Let Oil Gets Heat, Then Add Cumin Seeds, Shahjeera .
  • Then Add All Biryani Masalas Like Star Anise, Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Bay Leaves, Dagad Phool( Biryani Flower ) Kapok Buds.
  • Then Add Chopped Onions With Salt And Saute For 2 Minutes.
  • Then Add Chopped Green Chillies And Saute Till Onions Become Light Golden Colour.
  • Then Add Curry Leaves And Mint Leaves And Cook Till You Get Nice Aroma.
  • Then Add Ginger Garlic Paste And Saute Till Raw Smell Leaves.
  • Then Add all Vegetables Like Gobi, Carrots, Potatoes, Beans And Green Peas & Mix Well.
  • Close And Cook Till All Vegetables Are Done 80%
  • Then Add Soaked Rice And Mix Well And Saute For 1 Minutes
  • Then Add Water.
  • Note: For 1 Cup Of Rice = 1 3/4th Water
  • Add Garam Masala Powder And Mix Well.
  • Close And Cook Till Water gets Boil On High Flame.
  • When Water Gets Boil, Turn The Flame to Low And Cook till Rice Is Done.
  • Note: It Make Take 7 to 10 Minutes
  • When Rice Is Done Add Chopped Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.
  • That’s Its Vegetable Biryani is Ready To Serve
  • Serve Hot This Vegetable Biryani With Any Spicy Gravy And Curd / Raita.

  • Then Add Chopped Onions With Salt And Saute For 2 Minutes.


  • Then Add Chopped Green Chillies And Saute Till Onions Become Light Golden Colour.


  • Then Add Curry Leaves And Mint Leaves And Cook Till You Get Nice Aroma.



  • Then Add Ginger Garlic Paste And Saute Till Raw Smell Leaves.

  • Then Add all Vegetables Like Gobi, Carrots, Potatoes, Beans And Green Peas & Mix Well.






  • Close And Cook Till All Vegetables Are Done 80%


  • Then Add Soaked Rice And Mix Well And Saute For 1 Minutes

  • Then Add Water.

Note: For 1 Cup Of Rice = 1 3/4th Water
  • Add Garam Masala Powder And Mix Well.


  • Close And Cook Till Water gets Boil On High Flame.

  • When Water Gets Boil, Turn The Flame to Low And Cook till Rice Is Done.



Note: It Make Take 7 to 10 Minutes
  • When Rice Done Without any Moisture, Add Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.


  • That’s Its Vegetable Biryani is Ready To Serve

  • Serve Hot This Vegetable Biryani With Any Spicy Gravy And Curd / Raita.

  • Chop All Veggies Before Hand.
  • Dont Over Boil Veggies Before Adding Rice And Water.
  • For 1 Cup Of Rice Add 1 3/4th Cups Of Water i.e 1/4 Cup Less Water.
