Mutton Fry Recipe - With Detail Photo And Video.Mutton Fry Is One Of The Spicy, Hot Flavored Recipe.The Main Ingredients In This Mutton Fry Are Mutton, Onions, Tomatoes And Dry Coconut.

They Are Many Ways To Cook Mutton.This Is One Of The Different Recipes Done With Cooked Onion, Tomato & Dry Coconut Paste. Usually Mutton Fry Is Done by Pressure Cooking The Marinated Mutton And Then The Tempering Is Added To Mutton And Will Cook Till Water Evaporates.This Is The Basic Mutton Fry Recipes Usually Done At Home.

In My Recipe, First I Fried The Onions, Then Added Dry Coconut And Tomatoes.When Everything Was Cooked Well, Added To Blender By Adding Some Spices And Blend To Fine Paste. In Pan Cooked The Paste Then Added Cooked Marinated Mutton And Fried Till The Desire Texture.

Mutton Fry Done With Onions, Tomato & Dry Coconut Paste Will Give Superb, Tasty & Delicious Mutton Fry.This Goes Well Either With Rice, Roti, Chapathi Or Dosa. Superb Recipe Goes Well With All.

Video Recipe Of Mutton Fry


Marinate Ingredients:

  • Mutton - 500 g
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 1/2 Tbsps.
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tbsps.
  • Salt - As Required
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Oil - 1 Tbsp.

For Onion Tomato Paste: 

  • Onions - 3 Big Chopped
  • Tomatoes - 3 Big Chopped
  • Dry Coconut - 1 Small ( 40 g )
  • Cloves - 10
  • Cardamom - 4
  • Cinnamon - 1 Inch
  • Shahjeera - 1 Tsp.

For Mutton Fry Recipe :

  • Shahjeera - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Green Chillies - 3 Chopped
  • Curry Leaves
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp.
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Kasoori Methi - 1 Tsp.
  • Coriander Leaves

Preparation:

Cooking Mutton:

  • Firstly Clean Mutton
  • In Pressure Cooker, Add Cleaned Mutton, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Ginger Garlic Paste & Oil.
  • Mix Well.
  • Pressure Cook The Mutton, Close & Cook For 5 Minutes On Medium Flame.
  • After 5 Minutes Mutton Releases Water.
  • Cook Till Water Evaporates.
  • The Add Water And Pressure Cook The Mutton For 6 to 7 Whistles Or Depends On Brand Of Pressure Cooker.

Cooking Paste:

  • In Pan Add Oil, The Add Onions With Salt And Saute For 2 Minutes.
  • Then Add Dry Coconut And Saute Till Onions Turns Light Brown Colour.
  • When Done, Add Chopped Tomatoes And Mix Well.
  • Close And Cook Till Tomatoes Becomes Soft.
  • Then Remove And Add To Blender.
  • And Add Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon & Shahjeera And Blend To Fine Paste.

Cooking mutton Fry:

  • In Pan Add Oil & Shahjeerga.
  • Add Green Chillies And Saute 1 Minute.
  • Then Add Ginger Garlic Paste And Cook till Raw Smell Leaves.
  • Then Add Turmeric Powder And Curry Leaves And Saute.
  • Then Add Blended Paste And Mix And Cook till It Becomes Thick.
  • Then Add Cooked Mutton And Mix Well.
  • Close And Cook For About 10 Minutes on Low Flame.
  • When Done, Mix And Add Kasoori Methi And Coriander Powder.
  • Mix Well.
  • Close And Cook For More 5 Minutes.
  • Then Finally Add Coriander leaves.
  • That's It Mutton Fry Is ready To Serve

Step By Step Procedure With Photo & Video Recipe Of Mutton Fry:

Cooking Mutton:

  • Firstly Clean Mutton

  • Mix Well.


  • Pressure Cook The Mutton, Close & Cook For 5 Minutes On Medium Flame.

  • Cook Till Water Evaporates.

  • The Add Water And Pressure Cook The Mutton For 6 to 7 Whistles Or Depends On Brand Of Pressure Cooker.

  • In Pan Add Oil, The Add Onions With Salt And Saute For 2 Minutes.





  • Then Add Dry Coconut And Saute Till Onions Turns Light Brown Colour.



  • When Done, Add Chopped Tomatoes And Mix Well.


  • Close And Cook Till Tomatoes Becomes Soft.


  • Then Remove And Add To Blender.



  • And Add Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon & Shahjeera And Blend To Fine Paste.





Cooking mutton Fry:

  • In Pan Add Oil & Shahjeera.


  • Add Green Chillies And Saute 1 Minute.


  • Then Add Ginger Garlic Paste And Cook till Raw Smell Leaves.


  • Then Add Turmeric Powder And Curry Leaves And Saute.



  • Then Add Blended Paste And Mix And Cook till It Becomes Thick.




  • Then Add Cooked Mutton And Mix Well.





  • Close And Cook For About 10 Minutes on Low Flame.


  • When Done, Mix And Add Kasoori Methi And Coriander Powder.



  • Mix Well.

  • Close And Cook For More 5 Minutes.

  • Then Finally Add Coriander leaves.
