- Raw Mango ( Green Mango ) - 2
- Toor Dal | Kandi Pappu | Arhar - 200g
- Green Chillies - 4 Chopped
- Onion - 1 Chopped
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 1/2 Tbsp.
- Salt - As Required
- Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp.
- Curry Leaves
- Oil - 1 Tbsp
For Tempering:
- Oil - 4 Tbsps.
- Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp.
- Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
- Dry Red Chillies - 3
- Crushed Garlic - 2 Tbsps.
- Curry Leaves
- Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
Preparation:
Pressure Cook Preparation:
- Wash And Clean Toor Dal.
- In Pressure Cooker Add Washed Toor Dal, Raw Mango, Green Chillies, Onions, Curry Leaves, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Ginger Garlic Paste, Oil & Water.
- Mix Well And Pressure Cook The Dal For About 3 to 4 Whistles.
- Note: Whistles Depends On Brand Of Pressure Cooker.
Tempering Preparation:
- In Pan, Add Oil.
- Add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Dry Red Chillies, Crushed Garlic, & Curry Leaves.
- Mix Well And Saute Till Garlic Turns Light Brown Colour.
- Then Add Turmeric Powder And Mix Well.
- Remove And Add To Dal.
Mango Dal Preparation:
- Remove Pressure From Pressure Cooker.
- Mix And Make Smooth.
- Now Add Tempering And Required Water As Per Consistency,
- Mix Well.
- Bring to Boil.
- Finally Add Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.
