I Prepared This Recipe Just Like The Tomato Bath With Upma Rava / Bombay Rava. For This I Cooked Tomatoes To Very Soft And Mushy The Added Roasted Rava Into The Water.Jowar Dalia Upma Is Very Easy, Healthy And Tasty Breakfast.

Ingredients:


  • Jowar Rava | Jowar Dalia - 2 Cups
  • Oil - 3 Tbsps.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Green Chillies - 4 Chopped
  • Onions - 1 big Chopped
  • Curry Leaves
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp.
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Tomatoes - 4 Chopped
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Salt - As Required
  • Water - 4 1/2 Cups
  • Coriander Leaves

Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Oil.
  • When Oil Gets Heated Up Add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds And Green Chillies.
  • Saute For About 1 Minute.
  • Then Add Chopped Onions With Salt And Saute For About 2 Minutes.
  • When Onions Are Light Brown Colour Add Curry leaves, Ginger Garlic Paste And Turmeric Powder .Mix Well And Saute For Till Onions And Ginger Garlic Paste Leaves Raw Smell.
  • Then Add Chopped Tomatoes With Red Chilli Powder And Mix Well.
  • Saute Till The Tomatoes Are Soft And Mushy.
  • When Done Add Water And Mix Well.Note : For 1 Cup Jowar Dalia = 2 1/4th Cups Water i.e For 2 Cups Dalia = 4 1/2 Cups Water.
  • Close And Cook Till The Water Gets Boil.
  • Mean While In Other Pan Add Jowar Dalia With Oil And Roast On Low Flame.
  • Dalia Releases Nice Aroma And Changes Colour.
  • Then Remove And Add To Boiling Water.
  • Adjust Salt If Required.
  • Close And Cook Till It Done.
  • It May Take Upto 10 to 15 Minutes .
  • Finally Add Chopped Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.
  • That's It Healthy & Tasty Jowar Dalia Upma Is Ready.
  • Serve Hot Hot Upma With Spicy And Tangy Mango Pickles Or With Any Other Pickles Of Once Choice.

  • In Pan Add Oil.

  • When Onions Are Light Brown Colour Add Curry leaves, Ginger Garlic Paste And Turmeric Powder .Mix Well And Saute For Till Onions And Ginger Garlic Paste Leaves Raw Smell.





  • Then Add Chopped Tomatoes With Red Chilli Powder And Mix Well.



  • Saute Till The Tomatoes Are Soft And Mushy.



  • When Done Add Water And Mix Well.


Note : For 1 Cup Jowar Dalia = 2 1/4th Cups Water i.e For 2 Cups Dalia = 4 1/2 Cups Water.
  • Close And Cook Till The Water Gets Boil.


  • Mean While In Other Pan Add Jowar Dalia With Oil And Roast On Low Flame.



  • Dalia Releases Nice Aroma And Changes Colour.


  • Then Remove And Add To Boiling Water.




  • Adjust Salt If Required.
  • Close And Cook Till It Done.


  • It May Take Upto 10 to 15 Minutes .

  • Finally Add Chopped Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.




  • That's It Healthy & Tasty Jowar Dalia Upma Is Ready.
