There Are Many Varieties Of Coconut Chutneys. One Among Them Is Tomato Coconut Chutney.Before Cooking Clean And Chop The Coconut.Fry The Coconut And Boil The Tomatoes With Oil.

Video Recipe Of Tomato Coconut Chutney


Ingredients:

  • Coconut - 1
  • Tomatoes - 4
  • Green Chillies - 4
  • Dry Red Chillies - 3
  • Coriander Seeds - 2 Tbsps.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tbsp.
  • Tamarind - Lemon Size
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 1/2 Tsps.
  • Ginger - 15 g
  • Garlic - 20 g
  • Oil

Tempering Ingredients:

  • Oil - 4 Tbsp.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds
  • Dry Red Chillies - 2
  • Curry Leaves
  • Crushed Garlic - 1 Tbsp.
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.

Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Oil.
  • When Oil gets Heated Up Add Chopped Coconut And Saute For About 3 Minutes.
  • Then Add Green Chillies, Dry Red Chillies & Chopped Ginger Garlic Paste.
  • Saute Well.
  • Releases Aroma.
  • Saute Till Coconut Becomes Light Brown Colour.
  • Now Add Coriander Seeds And Cumin Seeds And Saute Well
  • Remove And Keep Aside.
  • In Same Pan Add Chopped Tomatoes, Tamarind And Turmeric Powder.
  • Mix Well. Close And Cook Till Tomatoes Becomes Soft.
  • When Tomatoes Are Soft, Remove And Keep Aside.
  • When Everything Gets Cool.Firstly Blend Coconut Coarsely. Then Add Tomatoes With Salt And Blend To Smooth Paste.
  • Remove in Bowl And Keep.

Tempering Preparation:

  • In Pan Add Oil.
  • Add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Dry Red Chillies, Crushed Garlic And Curry Leaves.
  • Mix Well And Cook Till Garlic Turns Light Brown Colour.
  • Then Add Turmeric Powder And Mix Well.
  • Remove And Add To The Coconut Tomato Chutney And Mix Well.

  • In Pan Add Oil.

  • When Oil gets Heated Up Add Chopped Coconut And Saute For About 3 Minutes.


  • Then Add Green Chillies, Dry Red Chillies & Chopped Ginger Garlic Paste.



  • Saute Well.

  • Releases Aroma.

  • Saute Till Coconut Becomes Light Brown Colour.

  • Now Add Coriander Seeds And Cumin Seeds And Saute Well






  • Remove And Keep Aside.


  • In Same Pan Add Chopped Tomatoes, Tamarind And Turmeric Powder.



  • Mix Well. Close And Cook Till Tomatoes Becomes Soft.


  • When Tomatoes Are Soft, Remove And Keep Aside.


  • When Everything Gets Cool.Firstly Blend Coconut Coarsely. Then Add Tomatoes With Salt And Blend To Smooth Paste.











  • Remove in Bowl And Keep.

  • Mix Well And Cook Till Garlic Turns Light Brown Colour.
