Whole Green Moong Dal Recipe - With Detail Photo And Video Recipe. Green Moong Dal Curry is One Of The Healthy, Easy And Tasty Curry One Should Try. This Curry Even Can Do With Sprouted Green Moong Dal.

Overnight Soaked Green Moong Dal Is Used In This Curry. Next Day Remove And Place In Air Tight Container To Get Sprouts.I Added Tomatoes Instead Can Add Tamarind Juice For The Same Taste.

Ingredients:

Cooking Green Moong Dal Ingredients:

  • Whole Green Moong Dal - 1 Cup
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 1/2 Tsps.
  • Water - 2 Cups
  • Oil - 1 Tbsp.

Cooking Moong Dal Ingredients:

  • Oil - 4 Tbsps.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Green Chillies - 4 Chopped
  • Onion - 1 Big Chopped
  • Curry leaves
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Crushed Garlic - 1 Tbsp.
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 1/2 Tsps.
  • Coriander Powder - 1 1/2 Tsps.
  • Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp.
  •  Tomatoes - 3 big Chopped
  • Coriander leaves

Preparation:

Cooking Moong Dal:

  • In Pressure Cooker Add Overnight Soaked Green Moong Dal.
  • Then Add Turmeric Powder, Salt, Oil, Ginger Garlic Paste, And Water.
  • Mix And Pressure Cook For About 2 Whistles.
  • When Pressure Goes Off, Remove Mix Once And Keep Aside.
  • In Cooling Mean Time, Do The Remaining Process.

Cooking moong Dal Curry:

  • In Pan Add Oil.
  • Add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Onions With Salt.
  • Mix Well And Saute For About 2 Minutes.
  • Then Add Green Chillies And Saute For About 2 Minutes.
  • Then Add Curry Leaves, Crushed Garlic, And Turmeric Powder And Mix Well.
  • When garlic Turns Light Brown Colour Add Chopped Tomatoes With Red Chilli Powder.
  • Add Tomatoes With Red Chilli Powder And Mix Well, Then Close And Cook For About 10 Minutes.
  • When Tomatoes Are Soft and Mushy Then Add Cooked Moong Dal.
  • Then Add Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, And Kasoori Methi And Mix Well.
  • Again Close And Cook For About 10 Minutes.
  • Finally, Add Coriander Leaves And Mix Well.
  • Serve Hot With Chapathi/Roti Or With Rice.
