Mirchi bajji also called Mirapakaaya bajji is one of the popular street food in a cool climate. This is one of the most loved snacks during the monsoon and is popularly done snacks during Indian weddings or at functions. The Mirchi that we use to make the bajji itself will give a slight spicy kick to the bajji and the delicious fillings inside balance all the other flavors to make it the perfect evening snack.

Many variations of the Mirchi bajji especially with the filling. If you are in no mood to add any filling to your bajji, then plain Mirchi bajji can be our go-to snack. however, the chilies add some flavor to the bajji. And if we want some more flavor but no mood of filling, then soaking the bajji in lemon juice is our go-to snack. If we are in a mood for filling but, not in a mood od prepare the filling then tomato pickle, tamarind pickle, or any other tangy pickle is our go-to snack. When we are in the full mood to eat full delicious filling then the below recipe is perfect. Another is just stuffing the chilies with roasted peanuts, coriander leaves with a sprinkle of lemon juice, and chaat masala. Here am sharing Mirchi bajji stuffed with sesame and tamarind paste. It is one of the easy bajji with a mouthwatering taste. The smell itself makes us hungry and tempts us to eat.

A Cup of hot tea and super tasty delicious stuffed Mirchi bajji. Happiness is when you are relaxed and have this tempting bajji in a cool climate. Try doing this different bajji according to your mood while the season lasts. Finally, I want to highlight some of my recipes like,

Video Recipe Of Mirchi Bajji 


Ingredients:

  • Bajji Mirchi - 12
  • Besan - 2 1/2 Cups
  • Rice Flour - 3 Tbsps.
  • Ajwain - 1 Tsp.
  • Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Salt - 1 Tsp.
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp.
  • Sesame Seeds - 1/2 Cup
  • Tamarind - 20 g | medium Lemon Size

Preparation:

  • First, dry roast sesame seeds and keep them aside.
  • When seeds become cool to add to blend along with tamarind, salt, and water.
  • Blend to smooth paste and keep aside.
  • In a bowl add besan, rice flour, ajwain, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, and baking soda
  • Mix well then add water and mix well.
  • Mix well to form a thick flowing batter.
  • Now take green chilies and slit the chili at the center and removes seeds from the chili.
  • Now Stuff the sesame tamarind paste into the chili.
  • Now dip the stuffed chili into besan batter and wipe off on the other side and drop into the hot oil.
  • Fry the bajji to 70 percent and remove.
  • Rest for 5 Minutes.
  • After 5 minutes again drop the bajji into oil and fry till golden brown color.
  • Serve hot onions and enjoy.
