Carrot Pickle - with a detailed photo and video recipe.Quick, easy, and tasty carrot pickle within minutes. It is an instant version of carrot pickle with minimum ingredients.
For this recipe, we need fresh carrots, wash, dry, and peel the carrots. They are different versions of carrot pickle, this is one of the instant and easy recipes. Another type by grating the carrots and then adding the tempering along with lemons.
Carrots are rich in beta-carotene. Beta-carotene helps to keep the eyes healthy. It also contains vitamin A, It helps to improve skin, digestion, kidney, and liver function.

Video Recipe Of Carrot Pickle
Ingredients:
- Carrots - 1 Cup
- Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tbsps.
- Salt - 1 Tbsp.
- Lemon Juice - 3 Tbsps.
- Oil - 5 Tbsps.
- Fenugreek Seeds - 1/4th Tsp.
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Tsp.
- Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
- Garlic - 1 Tbsp.
- Curry Leaves
- Dry Red Chillies - 2
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4h Tsp.
Preparation:
- In a bowl add peeled and chopped carrots along with lemon juice, salt, red chili powder and mix well.
- Rest for about 10 minutes.
- In a pan add oil, when oil gets heated up add fenugreek seeds, cumin, and mustard seeds.
- When the seeds splutter, add dry red chilies, crushed garlic, curry leaves and saute well.
- Saute till the garlic slightly changes color.
- Then add turmeric powder and saute till the garlic releases aroma.
- Now add this tempering into the chopped and carrot.
- Mix well, and serve hot with plain steam rice and enjoy this instant carrot pickle.
