Garam Masala Powder - homemade garam masala with just four ingredients.Very aromatic and flavorful spice blend used in Indian cooking. Garam masala is a wholesome of hot spices mix together and blends to a fine powder. They are different masala flavors but I like to have this 4 ingredient garam masala.
You may easily find a garam masala packet in any grocery store but the taste of your own mix is unmatchable and unique. The recipe of garam masala differs from person to person. Some prefer to add even the biryani masala ingredient like nutmeg, bay leaves, coriander seeds Black pepper, and cumin seeds.
Each and every spice used in Indian cooking have many benefits like the use of mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, etc.
Clove- the aromatic and spicy flower buds. People use clove oil to treat the gums for toothache and other dental issues. Cloves acts as anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial and promotes the immune system.
Cardamom is a spice with an intense, slightly sweet flavor. Even the cardamom had many health benefits like gastrointestinal disorders and it also helps to cure urinary disorders. It also works as a breath freshener.
Cinnamon is another ingredient used in garam masala powder helped to improve blood sugar and lowering of some risk factors for heart diseases.
Shahi jeera - is another ingredient used in my garam masala powder. It also belongs to the cumin family but with much lighter in fragrance and gives some specific aroma compared to cumin seeds.
Video Recipe Of Garam Masala Powder
Ingredients:
- Cloves - 25 g | 2 1/2 Tbsps.
- Cardamom - 10 g | 1 1/2 Tbsps.
- Cinnamon - 10 g
- Shahi jeera - 20 g | 2 1/2 Tbsps.
- Firstly, add all the ingredients in the blender and blend to a fine powder.
- Store the powder in an airtight container.
