HALDI is the name that doesn't need any introduction. We all use Haldi in our regular curries to make the curry look beautiful. It makes the curry look vibrant yellow tinge with the mix of color and makes the dish very attractive.
As everyone knows the Haldi in powdered form or by turmeric sticks blend to powered but here I'm talking about raw turmeric root or kachi turmeric root which is just like ginger with a bright orange color. This turmeric root is dried and powered, that is widely available in the markets as turmeric powder. It has a slightly peppery, bitter flavor, giving it a certain earthy taste, and was so unique.

- Water - 1 Cup
- Milk - 1 1/2 Cups
- Pepper Powder - 1 Tsp.
- Fresh Turmeric Root - 1 Inch
- Mishri Powder - 1 Tbsp.
- In a saucepan add water along with crushed pepper, turmeric, milk, and mishri powder.
- Bring to boil and boil for about 2 minutes.
- Then close and boil for about 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, milk infuses all the flavor and turmeric.
- Strain and enjoy the health benefits of turmeric milk.
