Indian cuisine is packed with lip-smacking options of Chicken recipes. Among many recipes, white chicken pulao is one of the easy, rich and aromatic pulao recipes, cooked using rice, chicken, and whole spices make the dish one of the lip-smacking therapy for your appetite



Chicken pulao is one of the quick and easy recipes to be done in tough times and wanted to eat some delicious chicken dish. One can make this chicken pulao with limited ingredients without any hassle. If you have some chicken, basmati rice, herbs, and whole spices by your side, you don't need to worry about the curry. We can toss it up in a biryani, or an even simpler chicken pulao. Ofcourse the dum biryani will test our patience, but this chicken pulao cooked along with water is one of the easy, delicious, mouth melting and whole lunch without the extra curry.


When we are bored of having regular chicken pulao with red chili powder, tomatoes, and whole spices, try this white chicken pulao, which is rich, aromatic, delicious, and makes for a perfect addition to any feast.


To make any chicken recipes, marination is a must. Marinating the chicken makes the chicken tender, juicy and delicious. For this soak the chicken in saltwater for about 20 minutes, if you want to make the pulao as fast without overnight marination. If with overnight marination soaking in saltwater is not needed. Then marinate chicken with whole spices, curd, and almond paste and rest for about 1 hour.

For any biryani or pulao, whole spices along with mint and coriander leaves are a must. These herbs and spices not only give the best taste but also give flavor and aroma to the recipe.


Finally, I want to highlight some of my chicken recipes like



Ingredients:
  • Chicken - 500 g
  • Basmati Rice - 500 g or 2 Cups
Chicken Marination Ingredients:
  • Chicken - 500 g
  • Salt - 1 Tsp.
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 Tsp.
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Curd - 1/2 Cup 
  • Almond Paste - 1/4th Cup
Cooking White Chicken Pulao Ingredients:

  • Ghee- 2 Tbsps.
  • Oil - 3 Tbsps.
  • Bay Leaves - 2
  • Dagad Phool - Few.
  • Kapok Buds - 2
  • Star Anise - 1
  • Mace - Few
  • Crushed Cloves - 6
  • Crushed Cardamom - 4
  • Shahjeera - 1 Tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
  • Cinnamon - 1 Inch
  • Onions - 2
  • Salt - As Required
  • Curry Leaves 
  • Mint Leaves - 1 Bunch
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Saffron Milk - 1/4th milk
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Water - 3 3/4th cups
Preparation:

  • Firstly before marination, clean and soak the chicken in saltwater for about 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, add salt, pepper, ginger garlic paste, curd, and almond paste.
  • Mix well and rest for about 1 hour.
  • In a pan add ghee, along with oil.
  • When the ghee melts, add all the biryani masala and saute for 1 minute.
  • When it releases aroma, add onions along with salt.
  • Mix well and saute till it changes color.
  • When the onions changed color, add curry leaves and mint leaves.
  • Mix well and saute till it releases aroma, then add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  • Saute well then add marinated chicken and mix well.
  • Saute for about 2 minutes, till the chicken changes color.
  • When done, close and cook for about till the chicken is cooked 70 percent.
  • When the chicken is cooked, add water and bring to a boil.
  • When the water gets to boil, add soaked rice and bring to boil.
  • When the water gets to boil, close and cooks for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, rice is cooked 80 percent.
  • Now add coriander leaves and saffron milk and mix well.
  • Again close and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes, switch off the flame and rest for more than 5 minutes. 
  • Serve hot and enjoy with raita or with cucumber salad.
