Chana Dal Poori - with detail photo and video recipe. " Poori " Indians all-time favorite recipes. Many varieties of pooris are there. Poori is one of the travel-friendly recipes for the people who scare outside food. The shell time for poori is almost 10 to 15 days. When that plain poori is done with something excited and tasty, it's more than required for a safe journey.
Here in this post am sharing chana dal poori which doesn't require any curry to accompany. For this recipe firstly wash and soak the chana dal for about 8 hours. Then the dal is blended with mild spices for taste and mixed with wheat flour. Instead of wheat flour, one can use either poori flour or the all-purpose flour. To make the recipe a bit healthy I used wheat flour and added fenugreek leaves, Coriander Leaves and Curry leaves.

Ingredients:
- Chana Dal - 1 Cup / 150 g
- Sooji Ravva / Bombay Ravva - 1/2 Cup
- Wheat Flour - 1 1/2 Cups
- Fenugreek Leaves - 1 Bunch
- Coriander Leaves - 1 Bunch
- Curry Leaves
- Green Chillies - 10
- Garlic - 10
- Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp.
- Salt
- Oil - 1 Tbsp.
Preparation:
- First, wash and soak chana dal for about 6 hours.
- Then remove water and add to blender.
- Now add green chilies, garlic cloves, cumin seeds, and salt.
- Blend everything to smooth paste.
- Now add this smooth paste to a bowl and add wheat flour, sooji ravva, fenugreek leaves, coriander leaves, curry leaves, and oil.
- Mix everything well without adding water.
- If you want to add sprinkle some water and mix well just like the chapathi dough.
- Close and rest for about 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes remove and take a small ball.
- By adding wheat flour, roll and flatten the dough just like small chapathi or can use poori press to flatten.
- Now take this poori and drop into the hot hot.
- Splash oil on the poori and cook both sides.
- That's it chana dal poori is ready
