Macaroni is a portion of comfort food for many either it can be Indian-style masala macaroni or Italian Style cheesy meal or a simple and quick macaroni dish. Mac and cheese is the most popular dish in North America and is often made with elbow macaroni. It's the small tube-like elbow pasta made with durum wheat that can be cooked into so many different dishes, not just mac and cheese. Macaroni can be cooked with any kind of different vegetables to make it a healthy meal, or a guilt-ridden indulgent meal, or a quick and easy snack to satisfy your hunger.

Today's recipe is cheese chili garlic macaroni done with cashew milk. For this recipe, firstly boil and cook macaroni by adding salt and oil. When the macaroni is soft just like gelly remove and keep aside by adding oil. This step makes the nonsticky macaroni. This recipe is about chili garlic macaroni, without adding any vegetables. You can save a lot of time in chopping and can consider this as the easiest and quick macaroni recipe with a touch of spiciness from chilies and a striking flavor of garlic.

Cashew Soaking Ingredients:

  • Cashews - 8
  • Water - 1/2 Cup

Boiling Macaroni Ingredients:

  • Macaroni - 1 Cup
  • Water - As Required
  • Oil - 2 Tbsp.
  • Salt - 1 Tsp.

Cooking Macaroni Ingredients:

  • Oil - 2 Tbsps.
  • Butter - 2 Cubes
  • Onion - 1
  • Salt - As Required
  • Green Chillies - 5
  • Finely Chopped Garlic - 2 Tbsp.
  • Curry Leaves
  • Crushed Pepper - 1 Tsp.
  • Grated Cheese - 3 Tbsp.
  • Coriander Leaves

Preparation:

Cashew Milk Preparation:

  • In a bowl add whole cashews along with hot water and soak for about 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, blend to extract cashew milk.

Cooking Macaroni Preparation:

  • In a saucepan add water and bring to boil.
  • When the water gets boil to add macaroni, along with oil and salt.
  • Bring to boil and cook till the macaroni is soft.
  • When done remove add cool water.
  • Mix with oil and keep aside.

Cooking Cheese Chilli Garlic Macaroni :
  • In another pan add butter along with oil.
  • Heat till the butter melts, then add onions along with salt and mix well.
  • Mix well and saute till the onion changes color then add green chilies, garlic, curry leaves, crushed pepper and mix well.
  • Mix well till it releases aroma.
  • Then add cooked macaroni and mix well.
  • Saute for about 1 minute then add cashew milk and mix well.
  • Saute for about 2 minutes then add grated cheese along with coriander leaves and mix well.
  • When done, serve hot and enjoy.
