Made with tender mutton liver pieces, it is cooked in a spicy and aromatic gravy prepared using onions, tomatoes, dry coconut, and a blend of traditional spices like red chili powder. turmeric, and garam masala.

( Kaleji Masala )
- Mutton Liver - 300 to 400g
- Oil - 4 Tbsps.
- Shahijeera - 1/2 Tsp.
- Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Tsp.
- Onion - 1 Big
- Green chillies - 4 to 5
- Curry Leaves
- Mint leaves - 1 Bunch
- turmeric powder - 1/4th tsp.
- Tomatoes - 3
- Dry Coconut Powder - 1/4th Cup
- Garam Masala - 1 Tsp.
- Salt - As Required
- Coriander Leaves
- Coriander seeds Powder - 1 Tsp.
- Mutton Liver ( Kaleji ) - 300 to 400 g
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tbsp.
- Salt - 1 Tsp.
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 Tbsp.
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp.
- Firstly marinate the mutton liver with the marination ingredients like red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, and ginger garlic paste.
- Mix well and keep aside for about 15 minutes.
- In a pressure cooker, add oil.
- When the oil gets heated up add shahijeera, and cumin seeds and let the seeds splutter.
- Then add onions and salt.
- Mix well and saute, then add green chilies, mint leaves, and curry leaves.
- Mix well and saute till it releases aroma.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder.
- Mix well and saute till it releases aroma.
- Then add dry coconut powder and saute for a minute.
- Then add marinated mutton liver and tomatoes and saute well till the liver changes color.
- Then add water and pressure cook for about 5 to 6 whistles.
- When the pressure leaves completely remove and add curry leaves and green chillies and close and simmer for about 10 minutes.
