Salad can be tricky with mixed veggies and chicken and can be light or can also turn them into a wholesome meal or partner them up as aside. Salads are not only healthy and light but also can be one of the most loved food with a burst of flavors. There are many kinds of salad like veg salad, chicken salad, fruits salad, sprouts salad, etc. Whatever the salad may be, the flavors, a long list of zingy sauces, and unique spices to explore play a key role.
For a perfect salad, the salad should be crunchy as well as fresh for that we need to be careful and keep a few things in mind to get the crunchiness. For that wash all the greens with cold water, and don't overdress the salad the salad should be dressed just before the serving.
Today's recipe is about chicken salad. for chicken salad, cooking the chicken can be in many ways like grilled, baked, plainly boiled, or by roasting chicken with fewer spices. In this recipe, we tossed the chicken with fewer spices and then chopped and added it to the salad. The lettuce used in this salad is soaked in cold water for about 10 minutes or till we are ready to serve the salad to keep the lettuce crunchiness. We tossed the boiled baby corn and mixed capsicum to enhance the flavor and release the aroma. For the dressing, I used the basic ingredient which is readily available at home like green chilies, lemon juice, garlic, salt, black salt, chaat masala, and coriander leaves, after adding all the dressing ingredients and mixing well. While mixing the dressing we can the nice aroma and all the combined flavors of garlic coriander and lemon juice tempt us to have it as soon as we have done.
